The mountain hiking conditions are good on Monday, the weather is expected to deteriorate in the afternoon, reported the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC).

There is fog in the highest parts around Botev Peak. Temperatures are between 12C and 7C, with light wind. 

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) reported that it will be mostly sunny in the mountains, with moderate northwesterly  wind, and cumulus clouds developing in the afternoon, but only in isolated places there will be light rain. Highs: 24C at 1,200m, 16C at 2,000m.
