site.btaBulgarian Eleonora Rangelova to Be Commissioner at Mens' Final of EuroBasket 2025 in Riga

Bulgarian Eleonora Rangelova has been selected as commissioner for the  men's final of EuroBasket 2025, co-hosted by Latvia, Poland, Cyprus, and Finland. Turkiye and Germany will compete for the gold medal on Sunday evening. She has already been a commissioner for some of the games, including those in the elimination phase, according to the Bulgarian Basketball Federation.

Rangelova has extensive experience as a technical delegate at major forums. She participated as such at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Rangelova's work was highly appreciated two years ago when she was selected as commissioner for the final between Germany and Serbia at the World Cup in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. This made her the first woman to be given such responsibility by FIBA.

Bulgaria had two other representatives at the European Basketball Championship, Martin Horozov and Ventsislav Velikov, who refereed some of the matches.
