The Brotherly Mound in Plovdiv will open its doors to visitors on September 3 and 4, the organizers said on Monday.

Plovdiv residents and guests of the city will have the opportunity to look inside the memorial complex and talk to experts who will give lectures on the historical context of the monument and its architecture as art.

Special attention will be paid to the plastic art and the work of Lyubomir Dalchev, who is the author of the series of sculptural compositions in the interior.

A light installation will emphasize the architectural lines of the monument, and a pleasant accent will be two musical performances, the organizers added.

The event is organized with the support of the Regional Historical Museum in Plovdiv and the Chamber of Architects in Plovdiv, and the Jazz Candlelight Concert initiative is a partner, the announcement said.
