The total revenues from nights spent in February reached BGN 115.2 million - a 7.7% rise compared to the same month of the previous year, show National Statistical Institute data published on Friday. 

The total number of nights spent was 1.158 million, or 2.0% less in comparison to February 2024. The number of arrivals in all accommodation establishments increased by 2.0% and reached 489,700.

A total of 2,191 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with 10 or more bed-places, functioned in the country, offering 64,600 rooms and 134,300 thousand bed-places. In comparison with the same month of the previous year, the number of accommodation establishments increased by 0.6%, and the bed-places in them - by 4.6%.
