Adrian Andreev qualified for the second round of the Challenger series clay tennis tournament qualifiers in Valencia (Spain) with a prize fund of EUR 118,000. 

The Bulgarian, seed No. 4, defeated Alex Marti Pujolras of Spain 6:2, 6:3 in 1:44 hour.

The 22-year-old Andreev will play against Henri Squire (Germany) for the main draw entry. The two have not met before.

The Bulgarian earned two points for the world ranking, in which he is 245th, and USD 580 from the prize fund.
