The Memory and Posters exhibition was unveiled on Tuesday at the National High School of Applied Arts St. Luke in Sofia, the organisers from the State Cultural Institute at the Foreign Ministry said. The exhibition is inspired by the message of humanism and opposition to anti-Semitism that the story of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews 80 years ago carries.

The posters presented in the exhibition are made by Anna Simeonova, Ivan Kashlakov, Kiril Zlatkov, Lyuba Tomova, Margarita Doncheva, Maya Staykova, Mila Lozanova, Nenko Atanasov, Petar Chuchuligov, Radoslava Boor, Strahil Dimitrov and featuring Hungarian master of the socially engaged poster Peter Poch, the organisers added.

"The poster collection project was realized by the State Cultural Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the International Triennial of the Stage Poster within the project Strategic cooperation between Bulgaria and Norway in support of Bulgaria's international commitments to combat anti-Semitism and preserve Jewish heritage," the exhibition team said.
