site.btaMinister Bogdanov Plans Optimization of Working Processes at Economy Ministry, No Purges

Speaking on Nova TV on Sunday, Economy and Industry Minister Bogdan Bogdanov said that he would not conduct purges at the Ministry. In his words, there will be optimization of certain processes that are either not working or are not effective enough. 

Talking about his priorities, he said he will work for the development of business and the growth of investment. “We should make a lot of effort to normalize the tone between institutions as well as between institutions and businesses. What the business community lacked in the last years was predictability and stability,” he argued.

He said that he has reinstated one of the deputy economy ministers removed from office by the caretaker cabinet: Irina Tshtonova. That puts the number of his deputies at three.

Bogdanov said he would make effort to conduct a check into the case of Plovdiv International Fair.
