site.bta14th Golden Kuker International Animation Film Festival to Open in Sofia on Wednesday

The 14th International Animation Film Festival Golden Kuker-Sofia will be held in the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts Kr. Sarafov (NATFA) between June 7 and June 11, the organizers said on Monday.

The festival started its activity in October 2010 in Sofia. As part of its programme, animators and audiences will have the opportunity to attend professional master classes led by world-renowned directors and animators, exhibitions, seminars, round tables, presentations and events related to the art of animation.

It is organized by the animation studio ANIMART Ltd. and the Bulgarian Association of Independent Animation Artists (BAIAA) Proiko Proikov. The Association was founded and is chaired by Nadezhda Slavova (animator, director and scriptwriter of numerous animated films).
