site.btaTourism Minister Launches Summer Season in Primorsko, New Emergency Medical Office
Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov participated in the opening ceremony of the summer tourist season in Primorsko, on the Black Sea. Together with Health Minister Assen Medjidiev, they officially announced the opening of the new emergency medical office in the town, which will provide round-the-clock medical care for tourists and residents of Primorsko and the region, right from the start of the summer season. This happened on the the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture and of Slav Letters - May 24, which is also the official holiday of Primorsko Municipality.
The celebrations were attended by representatives of the central and local authorities, many officials, partners, guests and citizens. The Mayor of Primorsko, Dimitar Germanov, emphasized that the opening of the medical office was long-awaited news and thanked for the help and support of the institutions. "I have been mayor for 12 years, I have been fighting for 12 years, and the problem has now been solved in 6 months by the caretaker government," Germanov pointed out. He handed over the honorary sign of Primorsko Municipality to ministers Dimitrov and Medjidiev, as well as to the Regional Governor Prof. Neikova.
