Tervel Zamfirov won the title in the parallel giant slalom at the World Junior Snowboard Championships in Bansko. The 18-year-old triumphed in an all-Bulgarian final Alexander Krashniak, who took home the silver medal.
Germany's Max Keunhauser won bronze after beating another Bulgarian, Petar Gergyovski, in the small final. Kristian Georgiev also recorded a prestigious ranking in the discipline finishing in ninth place.
In the girls' parallel giant slalom, Tsubaki Miki (JPN) triumphed after a successful final over Iris Pflum (USA). Germany's Salome Jansing earned bronze. The Bulgarians failed to overcome the qualification, as Andrea Kotsinova finished highest in the rankings at 19th place.
