site.btaBulgarian Travel Destination Video Wins Top Award at FITUR Fair in Madrid

Sofia, May 21 (BTA) - Bulgaria won the top award for a travel
destination advertising video at the 41st FITUR international
tourism trade fair in Madrid, the Bulgarian Tourism Ministry
reported on Friday. This is one of the most important tourism
exhibitions in the world involving the largest Spanish tour
operators and travel agents.

The current edition, taking place between May 19 and 23, aims to
 help restart tourism while the world is still grappling with
the COVID-19 pandemic. FITUR is seen as a major event for the
recovery of the industry.

Bulgaria's presentation was organized by the Tourism Ministry.
The country was nominated in two categories: videos advertising
travel destinations and videos advertising tourist products. The
 winning Bulgarian entry in the first category is titled
