Bulgarian residents made 675,700 trips abroad in November 2025, 5.8% more than a year earlier. An increase was recorded in trips for all observed purposes, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Monday. Most trips of Bulgarian residents were made to: Turkiye 202,300, Greece 112,100, Romania  71,400, Serbia 66,700, Germany 33,800 and Austria 25,900.

In October, Bulgarian residents made 829,300 trips abroad, 15% more than a year earlier.

In November 2025, non-residents' visits to Bulgaria stood at 732,800, up by 2.9% more than a year earlier. An increase was recorded in trips for all observed purposes. The transit passes through the country accounted for 32.4% (237,300) of all visits of non-residents to Bulgaria. Most of the visits to Bulgaria were from: Turkiye 162,500, Romania 158,300, Greece 92,800, Serbia 58,600, Ukraine 46,500 and the Republic of North Macedonia 29,800.

In October, non-residents made 956,700 visits to Bulgaria, up by 0.4% year on year.
