A traditional Epiphany water blessing ceremony of the military colours and the sacred flags of the Bulgarian Army will take place across Bulgaria on Tuesday.

In Sofia, the solemn ceremony will begin at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and will be attended by President Rumen Radev, Vice President Iliana Iotova, outgoing Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov, Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov, and Parliament Chair Raya Nazaryan. The Epiphany water blessing ceremony will be performed by Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil, with priests from the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

President Radev will receive the honour guard of the representative units of the Bulgarian Army and lay a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, the press office of the head of State said.
