site.btaRadev Holds Informal Talks with Regional and EU Leaders at Tivat Summit
After the plenary session of Friday's EU-Western Balkans Summit in the Montenegrin town of Tivat, with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev among the participants, the attending leaders posed for a family photo and had a working lunch hosted by Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic and European Council President Antonio Costa.
Before the plenary session, Radev told journalists that Bulgaria could provide substantial assistance to the countries in the region by supporting their institutions so that they can advance more quickly along their European path.
On the sidelines of the summit, he exchanged remarks with fellow leaders, including Norh Macedonia's Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and France's President Emmanuel Macron.
The EU-Western Balkans summit was held under the theme "Shared Prosperity and Stability of the European Union and the Western Balkans". It brought together leaders of the EU and the Western Balkan countries. The forum was chaired by European Council President Antonio Costa and hosted by Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic.
