Nikolay Denkov, co-chair of the parliamentary group Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), commented on Wednesday that he does not see any bright political figures in Andrey Gurov's draft cabinet.
"I don't see bright political figures, but an attempt for each minister to understand the work for which they are appointed, as well as to have experience," said Denkov, answering a question in the halls of Parliament. According to him, Andrey Gurov cannot afford to have inexperienced people enter the ministries since the caretaker government has about 100 days to govern. According to Denkov, in addition to fair elections, there are urgent complex tasks in other sectors and he gave the examples of the ministries of education, agriculture and regional development. Denkov added that he expects each of these ministers to cope with these difficult tasks.
The CC-DB co-chair also approved of Andrey Yankulov, who has been proposed as minister of justice. "He managed to bring a lot of things to light, related to the 'eight dwarfs' and the holding company around the energy bosses, he was deputy minister of interior and of justice, there is a reason for him to be nominated," said Denkov.
Earlier on Wednesday, the candidate for caretaker prime minister Andrey Gurov presented the composition of the government to President Iliana Iotova.
