At its regular sitting on Friday, Parliament will discuss the ratification of an agreement with the European Investment Fund related to the implementation of the JEREMIE initiative.

The aim is to ensure the legal validity of the signed agreements extending the framework and financial agreements until December 31, 2035. This will guarantee the management of the JEREMIE Holding Fund by the European Investment Fund, create conditions for reinvesting recycled resources through new financial instruments, and provide stability in support of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as innovative and high-technology sectors of the economy.

As a second item on the agenda, Parliament is expected to consider a bill ratifying the Partnership Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, on the one hand, and the members of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States, on the other.

The Parliament’s Friday sitting will also include Question Time, in which outgoing Deputy Prime Minister and Transport and Communications Minister Grozdan Karadjov, Regional Development and Public Works Minister Ivan Ivanov, and Environment and Water Minister Manol Genov will participate.
