The Ministry of Finance has placed a new issue of 10-year euro-denominated government securities (GS) maturing on 11 February 2036, with an annual interest coupon of 3.50%, the Ministry announced on its website here on Tuesday. 

At Monday's auction, GS with an aggregate nominal value of EUR 150 million were successfully placed at a weighted average annual yield of 3.84%. The total amount of bids submitted reached EUR 260.63 million, corresponding to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.74. The reported spread against comparable German federal bonds amounts to 102 basis points, the Ministry of Finance said. 

The Bulgarian National Bank also reported on its website on the auction held for the sale of part of issue BG 20 400 26 218/11.02.2026. 

This was the third auction for the sale of government securities on the domestic market this year, according to BNB's data published on its website. In January, two auctions were held for the sale of two-year and five-year government securities, each in the amount of EUR 150 million.
