According to preliminary data, the net flows of foreign direct investment in Bulgaria presented according to the directional principle recorded a positive value of EUR 2,984.6 million (2.6% of GDP) in January-November 2025, growing by EUR 304.4 million (11.4%) from January–November 2024 (positive value of EUR 2,680.2 million, 2.6% of GDP), the Bulgarian National Bank reported on Tuesday.

In November 2025, foreign direct investment in Bulgaria recorded a net inflow of EUR 410.5 million, compared with an inflow of EUR 249.4 million in November 2024.

According to preliminary data, Bulgarian direct investment abroad in January-November 2025 totalled EUR 415 million (0.4% of GDP), compared with EUR 710.8 million (0.7% of GDP) in the same period of 2024. 

In November 2025, Bulgarian direct investment abroad recorded a positive value of EUR 15 million, compared with a positive value of EUR 36.9 million in November 2024.
