Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Elena Shekerletova held political consultations with Austria’s Minister for Europe, Integration and Family, Claudia Plakolm in Vienna on Thursday, Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

According to the statement, the talks focused on key issues on the European agenda, including progress in the EU enlargement process based on the merit-based approach, the next Multiannual Financial Framework for 2028–2034, and the future of Europe, with particular attention to potential EU reforms. Security matters were also among the topics discussed.
