Bulgaria's partnership with Google is of strategic importance in the Government's vision of turning the country into a regional hub for artificial intelligence and digitalization, said e-Government Minister Valentin Mundrov at a meeting with Google’s Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Europe Annette Kroeber-Riel, which took place in Berlin, the press centre of the e-Government Ministry reported on Tuesday.

“Bulgaria is a stable and predictable partner that offers a reliable environment for long-term foreign investment. With a strategic focus on digital transformation and the development of innovation, our country is creating favourable conditions for major technology companies such as Google. The Bulgarian Government remains committed to maintaining transparent rules, a secure business environment and open dialogue with global investors,” Mundrov said.

Among the topics discussed were the opportunities for establishing a Google data centre in Bulgaria, as well as investments in the fields of digital transformation, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence, the press release reads.
