site.btaBulgaria to Donate Ambulance to East Serbia Town


Bulgaria’s Consul General in Nis Dimitar Tsanev and Dimitrovgrad Mayor Vladica Dimitrov signed a grant agreement for the acquisition of an ambulance for the local health centre, the Bulgarian-Serbian language FAR portal reported.
The new ambulance will be equipped with up-to-date medical equipment and will improve the provision of emergency medical care throughout the municipality, says the Facebook page of the Town Hall.
The financial assistance amounts to BGN 109,230. 24 and is granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria within the framework of the Bulgarian Development Aid programme.
Under the Bulgarian Development Aid programme Bulgaria has financed a number of projects in Dimitrovgrad. Among the biggest are: construction of the Detko Petrov room in the library of Dimitrovgrad, which bears the name of the writer, construction of a summer stage in the library, renovation of the large hall in the Cultural Centre, electrification of the monument and visits by specialist doctors, recalls FAR.
