site.btaTourists from Romania, Austria, Japan Visit Chukara Hotel Complex near Tryavna
The boutique four-star Chukara Complex near Tryavna attracts foreign visitors, mainly from Romania, Austria and Japan, offering tranquillity in the heart of the Balkan Range, coupled with opportunities for cultural and historical tourism and access to eco-trails and nature routes, the team of the complex told BTA.
Chukara has developed a sustainable year-round tourism model, combining spa services, wine culture and natural assets. One of its key highlights is the signature Chukara Wine Spa ritual, which blends natural ingredients and holistic therapies for relaxation.
The complex reports steady interest through the year. The hotel offers 57 luxury rooms and suites, two restaurants with different culinary concepts, its own winery, conference facilities, a gym, children's area and pet corner, as well as extensive outdoor spaces with panoramic views of the mountain. The spa zone includes an indoor heated pool with a children's section, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, saunas, a steam bath, a salt room and a relaxation area, alongside a range of massages and therapies.
The synergy between wine, spa and nature sets the complex apart from traditional spa destinations in Bulgaria. The boutique winery and organized tastings enhance the overall experience, with wine integrated into both the culinary offering and spa treatments.
The management has focused on sustainable development through eco-friendly practices, including paperless operations, dosing systems for cleaning products and reusable packaging.
The complex, which has been operating for nearly four years, has built a loyal customer base that values consistent quality and individual attention.
