Interior Ministry Conducts Operation Against Migrant-Trafficking Crime Ring in Sofia

The Interior Ministry is carrying out a specialized operation to dismantle an organized criminal group involved in migrant trafficking in Sofia, Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov, Border Police Director, said in a bTV interview on Sunday. Former Parliament Chair Kiselova Says She Would Not Change Decision on Euro Referendum Proposal

BSP – United Left MP and former National Assembly chair Nataliya Kiselova said on Saturday that if she had to decide again today whether to allow President Rumen Radev’s proposal for a referendum on Bulgaria's introduction of the euro in 2026, she would take the same decision as in May – she would not allow it. In an interview with Nova News, she commented on the Constitutional Court’s ruling, according to which the Chair of the National Assembly has no authority to assess whether the holding of a national referendum is admissible.

Turkiye Rejects New Greek Maritime Spatial Planning Map

Turkiye does not recognize the updated Maritime Spatial Planning Map published by Greece as part of the European Union's map of the same name as announced by Yoncu Keceli, spokesperson for the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a published statement on the institution's website. According to the Ministry, the map published by Greece is unilateral and the indicates areas overlap with those of Turkiye.
