The Central Election Commission (CEC) will request from Information Services, the National System Integrator in Bulgaria, details about the video surveillance process that monitored the ballot counting after the snap parliamentary elections that took place across the country on October 27. The CEC decided during a meeting on Thursday that Information Services will have to provide a comprehensive report with details about the number of cameras that were used, their location, the sites where the lack of internet connection prevented the cameras from working properly, at what times the connection was down for unknown reasons.

CEC Deputy Chair and spokesperson Rositsa Mateva said that the report will also have to specify whether any polling stations lacked video surveillance altogether.
