Bulgarian football league champion PFC Ludogorets Razgrad found out its opponents in the UEFA Europa League on Friday. In the second best European competition, the team will meet Rangers Football Club and Real Betis from the draw's pot 1.
The fixture against the Scottish team will be held in Glasgow, while Ludogorets will host the match against the Spanish side.
From pot 2, they will face PAOK FC (the team in which Bulgarian national team captain Kiril Despodov plays) and Ferencváros TC. Ludogorets' other opponents will be OGC Nice, BSC Young Boys, RC Celta de Vigo and Malmö FF.
The Bulgarian club played in the Champions League qualifying rounds but was eliminated by the Hungarian champion Ferencváros - as the team from Budapest lost in their next round, they will meet again in the Europa League. Ludogorets won their Europa League qualifying tie against North Macedonia's KF Shkëndija with 5-3 on aggregate.
