Sofia will see strong home representation on Tuesday at the EUR 54,000 ATP Challenger Tour-50 event, staged at the Bulgarian National WINBET Tennis Center. Wimbledon junior champion Ivan Ivanov takes on fifth seed Marat Sharipov of Russia, winner of nine ITF titles.

Wimbledon junior semifinalist Alexander Vasilev begins his tournament against Czech player Zdenek Kolar, a former world No. 111 and winner of four Challenger titles.

The third Bulgarian on court will be Viktor Markov, who will take on Nicolas Sanchez Izquierdo (Spain), a holder of 12 ITF titles.

In match number four, Anas Mazdrashki will face sixth seed Murkel Dellien (Bolivia).

After that, there will be an all-Bulgarian doubles clash between third seeds Alexander Donski and Petr Nesterov against Alexander Vasilev and Viktor Kirov.

Ivan Ivanov will also play his first-round doubles match on Tuesday. Ivanov and Naoya Honda (Japan) will meet second seeds Nino Serdarusic (Croatia) and Zdenek Kolar (Czechia), the Bulgarian Tennis Federation said.
