Bulgarian Athletes Set European Record, Win 4 Medals at Open Europe Down Syndrome Championships in Prague

Bulgarian athletes set a European record and won three gold and one bronze medal on the second day of Open Europe Down Syndrome Championships here on Wednesday.

Alexander Asenov snagged the gold in the men's 100m sprint and triathlon. In the 100m discipline, he finished in 13.43 seconds, which is a new European record. 

Radena Angelova won the gold in the women's 1500m race walking discipline with a time of 12:29.12 minutes. 

Boyan Vandov won the bronze medal in the men's 1500m race walk.
