Bulgarian basketball player Aleksandar Vezenkov adds another award to his collection. He was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Greek league finals.

On Sunday, Olympiacos claimed the Greek championship title for the 15th time after an 85:71 win in Game 4 of the series against Panathinaikos, securing a 3-1 series victory for the red-and-whites. Vezenkov left the game with 1:13 remaining in the first half due to a right ankle injury but still earned the coveted individual MVP award.

The Bulgarian finished the finals series averaging 15.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.8 steals per game. This marks the second time, after the 2021/22 season, that he has been named MVP of the Finals.

After the game, Vezenkov said the injury doesn't concern him and he is happy for the whole team.

In addition to his two Finals MVP awards, Vezenkov has also been named Most Valuable Player of the Greek league regular season three times. He holds one MVP title in the EuroLeague, another in the EuroLeague playoffs, and now only needs to win the Final Four MVP award in the EuroLeague to complete his collection.
