Good weather in the mountains until noon, deterioration expected in the afternoon - thunderstorms with rain showers, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) told BTA on Wednesday.

Partly cloudy in the mountains, sunny in places. Light wind is blowing in some areas of the Balkan Mountains, in other places it is quiet. 

There are patches of snow cover in places in the high parts of the mountains. 

There have been no incidents with tourists over the past 24 hours, mountain rescuers added.
