Bulgaria’s top tennis player Grigor Dimitrov reached the third round of the Monte-Carlo Masters Wednesday after rallying past wildcard Valentin Vacherot in three sets.
The 15th-seeded Dimitrov dropped the opener 4-6 but recovered to win 6-3, 6-1 in just under two hours on the clay courts in Monte Carlo.
His next opponent is Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo, who scored a surprise straight-sets victory (6-3, 6-4) over Novak Djokovic.
