Traffic at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border control checkpoints at the border with Turkiye is heavy for trucks exiting Bulgaria, the Border Police said on their website on Saturday morning.

At the Bulgaria-Romania border, the ferry platform servicing the Oryahovo-Bechet route temporarily suspended operations on October 1 due to the low level of the Danube River. Traffic at all other checkpoints is normal. 

Renovation of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is ongoing, with traffic limited to a single lane and regulated by the contractor’s staff.

Traffic is normal at all checkpoints on Bulgaria's border with the Republic of North Macedonia. 

Serbian border authorities have temporarily suspended traffic at the Strezimirovci border crossing point due to heavy snowfall. Traffic is normal at the other border checkpoints.

Traffic is also normal at all checkpoints on the border with Greece. Construction works are underway on the Greek side of the Rudozem-Xanthi route. Authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and prohibiting unauthorized access.
