site.btaBulgaria Ranks First in Poomsae at Bulgaria Open International Taekwondo Tournament

Four gold, three silver and six bronze medals were won by Bulgarian competitors in the poomsae discipline on the third day of the Bulgaria Open 2024 international taekwondo tournament. The Bulgarian team won a total of 750 points, which earned them the first place and the cup. More than 450 participants took part in the Poomsae competition, making the tournament the biggest in Europe this year. 

The total number of medals won by the Bulgarian representatives at Bulgaria Open 2024 is 26, including eight gold, seven silver and eleven bronze awards.

In the overall ranking for the whole tournament Bulgaria is third with 1,580 points.

Over 1,700 taekwondo practitioners from nearly 30 countries competed in Bulgaria Open 2024.
