A Korea-Bulgaria Energy Forum will be held today, October 30, at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia in the Bulgarian capital.

The Center for the Study of Democracy, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria, and KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) are convening leading policymakers, industry executives, and experts from Bulgaria, Korea, and across Europe for discussions focusing on nuclear energy, renewables, hydrogen, smart technologies, and sustainable investment - highlighting new opportunities to strengthen Bulgaria’s energy transition and Europe’s long-term energy resilience, the organizers said, announcing the event on Facebook.

The forum is to be attended by Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov, Deputy Innovation and Growth Minister Martin Danovski, and Bulgarian Energy Holding Executive Director Valentin Nikolov.
