Bulgarian State Railways has reported significant train delays and cancellations caused by fallen trees damaging overhead power lines during recent heavy snowfall. Key routes affected include Vidin–Sofia, Razgrad–Samuil, and Vratsa–Pleven, with delays of up to 205 minutes.
Some suburban services between Vratsa and Mezdra have been cancelled due to a shortage of operational trains. Passengers are being redirected to alternative services.
