Schneider Electric will cooperate with PBM Bulgaria in the development of Bulgaria's maritime industry, said the French multinational corporation that specializes in electrification, automation and digitization. The Varna-based PBM Bulgaria company, which specializes in marine engines and engine control systems, has obtained a certificate and thus joined Schneider Electric's EcoXpert Services partner programme.

The certificate gives PBM Bulgaria access to licensed software and equipment for testing all models of HH relays, used in a ship's electric installations.

The cooperation between the two companies, which dates back many years, will also focus on maintenance, repair work, testing and upgrading of generator relays typical of ship installations.

PBM Bulgaria is Woodward's only Authorised Independent Service Facility (AISF) in Bulgaria and has maintained high standards since 2015. Its core business includes repair and maintenance of main and auxiliary marine engine governors, remote control systems for propulsion systems, and diagnosis and resolution of a variety of mechanical and electrical problems.
