The Council of Ministers decided to update the basic monthly salary of the executive director of the National Revenue Agency (NRA), the government information service said on Tuesday.

While it does not say how much the new pay will be or what the increase it, it says that this has been the first update since October 2023.

Among the factors taken into account to form the new salary are the specificity of the work and the responsibilities that it carries when it comes to revenue collection, the voluntary fulfilment of the obligations of the taxable persons, and the development of electronic services provided by the NRA.
