The season’s first snowfall and high winds hit Bosilegrad Municipality on Friday, disrupting electricity and blocking some rural roads with fallen trees.

The municipal crisis headquarters deployed teams from the municipal Construction Sites and Roads, Services, and Sanitation departments early in the day to manage and repair the damage on the ground.

Local authorities encourage residents to report road issues to ensure timely response by maintenance crews.

Snow cover in the higher elevations of the municipality measures 15–20 centimeters, reaching up to 40 centimeters in Crnostica village. All roads remain open to traffic, according to the municipal Construction Sites and Roads company.
