The February 2025 output of energy products showed a month-on-month increase solely for liquefied petroleum gases - by 60.0% to 8,000 tonnes. The largest decrease was registered in transport diesel - by 11.9% to 236,000 tonnes, the National Statistical Institute data announced Tuesday shows.
In February 2025, a decrease was reported in the production of motor gasoline by 10.7% to 117,000 tonnes; solid fuels - by 2.8% to 2,590,000 tonnes; electricity - by 0.2% to 4,215 GWh. There was no change in the production of natural gas.
Compared to the same month of 2024, an increase was reported in the production of liquefied petroleum gases - by 60.0%, and electricity - by 32.3%.
The production of solid fuels significantly increased, due to the unusually low production in February 2024, as currently it reaches its usual levels.
On an annual basis a decrease was reported in the production of motor gasoline - by 16.4% and transport diesel - by 2.5%. There was no change in the production of natural gas.
The biggest increase was reported in the deliveries motor gasoline - by 21.7% to 56,000 tonnes, while the biggest decrease was reported in solid fuels and electricity - 2.4%.
In February 2025, compared to January 2025, an increase was reported in the deliveries of natural gas - by 3.0% to 308,000,000 m3. A decrease was reported in the deliveries of solid fuels - by 2.4% to 2,632,000 tonnes, electricity - by 2.4% to 3,602 GWh, transport diesel - by 2.1% to 236,000 tonnes. There was no change in the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases.
Compared to the same month of 2024, an increase was reported in the deliveries of transport diesel - by 31.8%, natural gas - by 23.7%, electricity - by 21.3%, motor gasoline - by 12.0%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 5.6%.
The deliveries of solid fuels significantly increased, due to the unusually low deliveries in February 2024, as currently they reach their usual levels.
