The terminal for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the Greek city of Alexandroupolis should be ready by the end of 2023, caretaker Energy Minister Rossen Hristov said during Question Time in Parliament on Friday. Hristov answered a question by Democratic Bulgaria MP Martin Dimitrov about measures to build the facility on time. Hristov reminded that Bulgaria holds a 20% stake in the facility via the state-owned BulgarTransGas company.
