site.btaAmerican Art Exhibition Opens in Burgas
An international exhibition titled American Art was unveiled at the Sea Casino Cultural Centre in Burgas on Wednesday, the municipal administration said in a press release.
The exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, graphics, screen printing, textiles and a limited series of art posters by Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Mr. Brainwash, Christo, Huben Cherkelov, Evgeni Yonov, among others. It features both world-renowned names associated with pop art, abstract expressionism and contemporary conceptual art, as well as Bulgarian authors whose work develops in dialogue with the US art scene.
The exhibition is organized by Burgas Municipality and the Vivacom Art Hall Oborishte 5 gallery. It is part of the cultural programme of Burgas Municipality for 2025 and is related to the city's preparation for its candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032.
The exhibition will run until October 5, 2025.
