During the parliamentary debate on the report on BTA's activities and finances in 2024 here on Friday, Hyusein Hafazov MP of MRF - New Beginning expressed the belief that almost all MPs have an overview of the Bulgarian News Agency's work, and there should not be anyone who has any claims or critical remarks. "It is our universally established opinion that BTA is working well, and in general there are few institutions that work in this way," he added.

In his words, BTA's report is detailed, correct, comprehensive, meaningful, specific, raises issues, gives requests for future activities, and challenges that stand before BTA, adding that MRF - New Beginning will support the report.

"We are clearly aware that the Agency is not only an information but also a cultural institute. In many places around the world, BTA is the only cultural representation of Bulgaria and performs an extremely important function as our natural representative. Journalists working in conflict points often take risks and often work in difficult conditions," Hafazov said.
