site.btaSofia Philharmonic’s Maestro Nayden Todorov Presents Beethoven in Italy

Sofia Philharmonic Director Maestro Nayden Todorov is visiting Italy once again. On April 6 he will present Piano Concerto No. 3 and Symphony No. 2 by Beethoven with the San Remo Symphony Orchestra. The soloist of the evening will be the young pianist Maya Oganyan - winner of many prestigious awards, including the Schumann, Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition, Orbetello Piano Competition, and La Palma D'Oro.

In 2024, Maestro Todorov has a series of Beethoven concerts. On the tour organized by the Philharmonic in the USA he conducted the Coriolan Overture, the Third and Fifth Concertos with soloist Ivaylo Vasilev, and Symphony No. 7, and in Sofia, Ruse and Bucharest he presented the Fourth Concerto with soloist Elena Bashkirova and Symphony No. 4.

After Italy, Maestro Todorov will return to Sofia, where he will perform with Vesko Eschkenazy, Bomsori and Sabine Meyer.
