In a 2008 interview for the weekly Kultura, Prof. Vera Gancheva (1943 - 2020), writer, translator, teacher, publisher, and member of the BTA family, said that expectations of punctuality, order and discipline seem natural and are valid worldwide, however, Bulgarians met with these expectations perceive them as personal insults.
