The Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) presents the annual exhibition of Section 13, titled "General Setup". The exhibition will open at the UBA gallery on December 22 and run until January 22, 2026, the art gallery said.

"The exhibition was initially meant to be associatively titled 'Swimming Pool', a name suggesting an open view of contemporary art as a form of communication. At one point, this concept evolved into the more pragmatic and descriptive title 'General Setup'. The show represents a cross-section overview of the current general setup of things in relation to the new status of Section 13," the team explained.

Members of Section 13, created to unite all "non-conventional forms" 32 years ago, were invited to interpret the current state/setup through the most conventional format of the last decades: the A4 page, the Union of Bulgarian Artists said.

The exhibition is curated by Yovo Panchev and Ivaylo Ivanov and is part of UBA's Projections of Creativity project.
