Vejdi Rashidov will present watercolors and drawings at his Christmas exhibition "The Tree." The exhibition will be unveiled at the Vejdi Art Gallery on December 11, the hosts said.

Vezhdi Rashidov was born in Dimitrovgrad (Southeastern Bulgaria) on December 14, 1951. He graduated from the Art High School in Sofia and from the Academy of Arts in 1978, majoring in sculpture under Prof. Dimitar Daskalov. Rashidov later taught as an established artist at the Academy. In 1985, he left for France after winning a competition for the Cite des Arts in Paris. He has participated in group, thematic, and solo exhibitions in all major cities in Bulgaria, in most European countries, and in cultural centres around the world. He has shown his works in more than 45 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. He is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards. From October 2022 to February 2023, he chaired the Bulgarian National Assembly.
