The Continue the Change Party extended greetings to Bulgarians on National Awakeners' Day in a Facebook post Saturday. "Let us continue the work of our national awakeners," the post reads. 

"Today we celebrate our educators, writers, revolutionaries, cultural and scientific figures. We honour the work of Bulgarians who have contributed to our education, culture, and national consciousness," the party added. 

Bulgaria observes National Awakeners' Day on November 1, when it pays tribute to the legacy of writers, educators, and freedom fighters who preserved the nation’s spiritual values through the centuries. The day was first celebrated in Plovdiv in 1909.
