Yes, Bulgaria Co-chair Ivaylo Mirchev Friday told a news briefing that Bulgaria is in huge danger, because "we are heading towards soft dictatorship, toward MRF - New Beginning finally taking full control of all power in Bulgaria." The MP of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) was commenting on a statement by GERB leader Boyko Borissov earlier on Friday. "Obviously, we are talking about a coalition of four parties, and obviously one of those parties is MRF - New Beginning," Mirchev noted.

In his words, it is no longer so important whether that formation will have ministers or not, because Borissov himself said that when MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski wants something from him, Borissov does it. According to Mirchev, this statement by Borissov is sufficient and sums up GERB's entire news conference on Friday. Borissov has finally brought Peevski into the new coalition, Mirchev added.

Mirchev also accused the GERB leader of lying when saying that CC-DB were in no way ready, had not set any conditions and had not reached out to join such a government. "We did it and put our conditions on the table last year. They were that Peevski should not be involved in the government," Mirchev recalled. "Borissov then got scared and chose to govern with Peevski. He is continuing in the same vein, admitting that he has known Peevski for 20 years," added Mirchev.

He believes that the dismissal of the Pazardzhik police chief  is "compensation for the fact that, once again, Borissov was unable to remove the Interior Minister after correctly establishing that he was entirely serving Peevski."

According to Mirchev, the lack of a quorum in Parliament is an indication that "Borissov is writhing before Peevski and the impossibility of breaking free, going to elections, and making a last-ditch attempt to prevent GERB from being swallowed up by Peevski."
