Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), and the Vazrazhdane and Velichie parties are one and the same: pro-Russian parties that are against the euro. This is how GERB leader Boyko Borissov commented on the upcoming meeting initiated by the Morality, Unity, Honor (MECh) party on Wednesday, to which CC-DB, the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ARF), Vazrazhdane, and Velichie are invited to discuss a fifth motion of no confidence in the cabinet of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov. According to MECh, the government should be brought down for its failure to deal with internal security.

According to Borissov, the opposition parties are reaping the fruits of the labour of others. “The Tsar [Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, former prime minister, 2001-2005] brought Bulgaria into NATO and the European Union, I brought the country into the European banking union, Schengen, and the eurozone - they have been out in the squares to prevent all this,” he pointed out.

The GERB leader noted that if over the next few months prices and profiteering are not controlled, and if there is no regular government to adopt a budget with a 3% deficit, a caretaker cabinet would allow the deficit to reach 5-6%, and on January 1 next year, Bulgaria will be ready to leave the Eurozone as soon as it joins it.
