site.btaSveti Vlas Mayor and Ambassador of India to Bulgaria Discuss Possibilities for Partnership in Tourism, Culture and Economy


At a meeting at the Sveti Vlas town hall on Monday, Mayor Ivan Nikolov and Ambassador of India to Bulgaria Arun Sahu discussed the possibilities for cooperation between the summer resort and India in the sphere of tourism, culture, cinema and economy. The meeting was at the initiative of the President of the Euro-Asian Association for Business, Culture and Friendship, Veselin Koshev.
During the meeting the two discussed the possibilities for joint cultural and economic initiatives that may strengthen bilateral ties. Nikolov expressed his conviction that such a partnership will bring new investment and encourage economic growth in the region. “Our purpose is to turn Sveti Vlas into a bridge between Bulgaria and India by developing tourism and culture through mutual enrichment and cooperation,” the town hall press center quoted the mayor as saying.
Bulgaria was recently added to India’s top travel in Europe wish list ranking published by the Times of India’s specialized entertainment news section.
