site.btaBurgas Prosecution Detains Czech Citizen for Murdering Girlfriend

Burgas District Prosecutor's Office detained a Czech citizen accused of intentionally killing his girlfriend, a 36-year-old Czech citizen. The crime was committed on April 24 in the town of Primorsko. Details of the investigation into the case were provided to the media on Friday by Burgas District Prosecutor Georgi Chinev and Inspector Miroslav Zhelev.

They reported that the lifeless body of the 36-year-old woman was found in a hotel room in Primorsko, after the police were notified. Only about six hours passed from the filing of the report to the arrest of the accused.

Investigators established that the victim and her boyfriend had an argument. The argument escalated and the 41-year-old man strangled his girlfriend with his hands.

The Burgas District Prosecutor's Office is about to file a request for the detention in custody of the accused.
